We’ve been walking you through the start of a story. Some of you are here to start your very first story and some of you could be halfway through your fourth novel. 

You don’t have to share much — a snippet of dialogue or a piece of prose that you’re proud of or struggling with. I’m sharing a snippet from my young adult work in progress Violet. It wasn’t a planned scene, it was just something I wanted to have fun with — and I ended up word-vomiting 1500 words (which is an insane number in my mind)
