Alysha (she/her) is the founder of Part of Things and definitely does not think of herself as a visual artist. Despite organising many SALA (and other) exhibitions and collaborating as a writer for all kinds of visual artworks, this is the first SALA exhibition that she has directly created visual artworks for as an individual artist. Alysha is an independent creative producer, writer, performance-maker and community organiser and is most well known for her collaborative work in youth arts and regional arts. She usually makes performances, installations, experiences, presentations, poetry, digital exchanges and and other creative things in all kinds of strange places, including real-life loungerooms, train stations and backyards.
