SALA 2019: it starts with a spark~

it starts with a spark~

All month/various times

SALA exhibition by Kirste Vandergiessen.

Kirste Vandergiessen’s debut solo exhibition as part of the South Australian Living Artist Festival this August.

“Magic. It’s an illusive idea that escapes a lot of us. It’s time to reignite that childlike wonder. Show us your magic.”

Kirste Vandergiessen is an emerging Riverland based artist from Barmera. She creates digital art inspired by fan-culture and her own imagination. Kirste is also an aspiring novelist and this is her first solo exhibition.

The exhibition has an interactive corner for people to draw their own responses at Kirste’s invitation.

This exhibition is upstairs and there is no alternative entry/exit. The content of this exhibition is suitable for all age groups.

As Part of Things is a volunteer-run space, we may need to make changes to the advertised opening hours of the exhibition – please bear with us – we will post any and all updates to opening times in the event discussion so please check there before making the drive to Barmera as we would hate to disappoint you.
