Planning Things

Planing Things

We want to open up as many opportunities as possible for others to be Part of Things in every way. To that end in the coming few weeks we are hosting a series of five #planningthings – essentially a mix of info night, brainstorming session and get to know yous in the lead up to launching Part of Things mid year. Each Planning Thing will go for an hour and be an opportunity to have a say about the kind of things Part of Things will be made of, and an opportunity (if you want to) to put your hand up to make some of them come to life.

The Planning Things:

BYO chair and ideas. Nibbles and provocations provided.

There are going to be 3 x Planning things open to everyone, 1 x Planning Things dedicated to Aboriginal community members and 1 x Planning Things dedicated to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse community members.

All Planning Things will be held at Hawdon Chambers. Hawdon Chambers is only accessible via 2 x sets of stairs.

Informed by Planning Things and their collective expertise, Part of Things founders will be curating an initial program of events/activities/projects/offerings but keeping lots of ‘blank space’ for anyone who wants to put their hand up with an idea they want to trial as things develop. At it’s heart that’s what Part of Things is most of all, a space and support to give your ideas a crack.

So get thinking and we look forward to hearing your ideas!
