Let’s Talk: Character Profiles

I get to know my characters through profiles — or character resume or a bio. This is a great exercise to get to know your character! Having a reference for basic information about your characters will help you in the long run. Writer brain will catch up with you and there will be a day you forget what colour hair your main character has. 

What do you include?

  • Character name
  • What role they play
  • Birthday/star sign/age
  • Height
  • Likes
  • Dislikes
  • What they carry in their bag.
  • Random facts
