Jozal Haddad is a 30-year-old artist based in Whyalla, South Australia. Jozal (pronounced similar to Giselle) was born in Gaza, Palestine and lived there for the first 8 years of her life before her family immigrated to Melbourne in 2000. Jozal traded city life for a more peaceful country life by making the move to Whyalla in July 2022. Jozal has been drawing since she was 5, sculpting since age 12, painting since 15, face & body painting since 18, learning digital art (on and off) the past decade, and street art when she gets the chance since 2018. Jozal is always picking up new art forms and is sure the list will grow. Her favourite mediums to work with are soft pastels and charcoal on paper or canvas.
