This year Monash, Barmera and Glossop are all celebrating their centenaries. Part of Things will be responding to the past 100 years by looking forward into the next 100 years. Activities as part of 2121 will include a SALA exhibition, writing competition and other ways for creative folk and community to get involved. Register interest here and/or stay tuned for all the details.

The first of our 2121 activities is a Drabble Competition. Drabbles are short stories of exactly 100 words in length. See all the details and how to submit your story here. Submissions close 30th June.

Our SALA exhibition titled “2021 dreams of 2121” has invited ten artists to respond to the question “What will the Riverland be like in 100 years time?” Come along this August to see what 2121 might look like. We will be hosting an artist talk/discussion 7pm on Sunday 29th August about the exhibition and future visioning. It’s free but you need to book here.
